Rich, dense and flavourful, this classic meat sauce from the region of Emilia is made using equal parts of fresh pork and beef, minced and cooked slowly with sautéed vegetables, extra-virgin olive oil, aromatic herbs and spices. Ideal for first courses such as tagliatelle, egg pasta, lasagne and cannelloni. Excellent as a filling for arancini and panzerotti.
