Salsa di cuori di carciofo - Artichoke heart sauce
Sauce made from finely chopped, lightly flavoured artichoke hearts. This improved recipe uses apple vinegar instead of wine vinegar to make the sauce more delicate and pleasant to the palate. Garlic also been removed to meet the modern taste. Excellent as a filling for canapés, sandwiches and bruschetta, or slightly diluted with oil to accompany boiled and grilled meats.
