Menù in a nutshell...

Menù has been producing food specialities since 1932

In 1932, Romolo Barbieri, father of Rodolfo, established a firm of the same name that produced cured meats.

Ragù Tutto

Production of the first speciality, Ragù Tutto, began during the wartime, in the 1940s. This was the forerunner of everything that followed.

Food specialities for the catering industry

In 1962, Robar started to work for the catering industry, and in 1972 it changed its name to Menù.

Certifications

The many certifications obtained demonstrate the priority given by Menù to the quality of its production process and to food safety: UNI EN ISO 9002, UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, UNI EN ISO 22000:2005, UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. Menù's technicians work hard to ensure first-rate product controls and safe food preservation.

Earthquake

On 29 May 2012, Menù was hit by a powerful earthquake, but the company was completely rebuilt in just 3 years.

Evolution

Preservation evolution: the year 2016 say the introduction of Èmaremix, the first product of the Menù Evolution line. Tinned food as good as fresh, and a combination of top quality selected ingredients.

Pomodorina

Pomodorina, the heart of Menù: in 2017 the company's iconic product, loved the world over, turned 50. Pomodorina is a special sauce prepared using fresh tomatoes, a wide variety of fresh vegetables, herbs and oil.

Pizza

Pizza chooses Menù. Menù offers a vast range of toppings for first-rate pizzas.

Pasta

Pasta chooses Menù: over 100 sauces and condiments for tomato, meat, fish, vegetable and mushroom based pasta dishes.

Gluten-free

Gluten Free Menù: a careful selection of gluten-free products to offer excellent flavour without the worry.

Desserts

Last but not least ... Over 40 dessert mixes, to bring a world of deliciousness to the table.

Production Facility

A cutting-edge production facility of over 40,000 sq.m, almost entirely rebuilt after the 2012 earthquake, and a warehouse capable of housing 30,000 pallets.

A large family kitchen

In terms of care, attention and cooking methods, the production cycle is nothing more than the normal workings of a traditional family kitchen.

Mushrooms

Over 40 types of mushroom delicacies: Prepared with the most advanced technologies following our chefs' recipes, Menù's mushrooms are fragrant and tasty, as if they had just been harvested.

Artichokes

Over 20 types of artichoke specialities: perfect for all recipes, from pizzas and pastas to appetisers and side dishes. Nothing but fresh artichokes processed in season.

Tomato

In summer, Menù becomes a world of tomatoes, in which freshly harvested tomatoes are processed 24/7.  Menù selects only 100% Italian tomatoes and then transforms them into products that turn a simple dish into a culinary masterpiece.
