A Mexican recipe, chilli is a slightly spicy meat and kidney bean sauce. The 100% Italian beef is browned in extra virgin olive oil, onion and garlic, and then joined by tomatoes, peppers, spices and a sprinkling of cocoa powder and cooked slowly to bring out the qualities of the meat. The dish is completed with red and black beans which are cooked gently. Ideal as a main course or as a filling for burritos, tortillas, flatbreads and sandwiches. An excellent standalone dish served with rice.
